Quite self-explanatory, don't you think. The species a player can choose from are listed in the Species section. Write your character's name and gender to appropriate places on the Character Sheet.
These include the character's age, weight, length, diet, color, living area, environment he usually inhabits, and the time he is usually active. These are all given for each species in the Species section. Your age is determined with a die roll, but the GM can allow you to select it freely. If you are older, you receive more Starting Points (explained below), but you also die sooner. You can also select any weight and length and color within the given range for the chosen species. If any Starting Skills are listed with the chosen species, the character receives them with their accompanying values.
All characters receive 2D6+5 Starting Points at the beginning of character generation. If a character is older than half of his species' maximum age, he also receives D6 additional points. Before assigning Starting Points, each character begins with his species' distinctive minimum values in every Characteristic as indicated in the Species section. The player can increase these values with the Starting Points. Any Characteristic except SIZ and the additional characteristics can be increased by the amount of points spent. Starting Points can also be used to increase the values of Special Skills. Once again, any Special Skill can be increased by the amount of points spent. If a character doesn't have a certain skill, he will gain that skill with a value of 1 by trading 1 point for it. After all these assignments have been done, determine and write down the additional characteristics (AIM, HP and MP) in their respective slots. Note that the additional characteristic values always change when the Characteristic values used to detemine them change.
You can draw a picture or write a short description of your character in the Portrait slot. Any equipment, currency, etc. the character is carrying is written down to the Stuff slot. Detailed Speed and Armor values are written in their slots to speed up the game. Experience points are written in the appropriate slot, and weapons are listed in the Melee and Ballistic weapons -slots.
It can be useful to limit the amount how many Starting Points can be used to increase a single Characteristic or Special Skill when generating a character. A maximum limit of 3 Starting Points per Characteristic or Special Skill is generally a good choice.
