About Nenet Demonstration Version

The Nenet demonstration version is provided free-of-charge by the Nenet Team. The sole intention of the demonstration version is to give an idea of the look-and-feel of the non-demo version. The Nenet demonstration version is not suitable for any serious use.

The demonstration version has the following restrictions on the data and map sizes:

• Maximum map size: 6 x 6 neurons.
• Maximum number of data vectors: 2000.
• Maximum data dimension: 10.

Technical Requirements

At the moment, Nenet runs on Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. If you want to run it on Windows NT 3.5, please see FAQ for further information. If you attempt to run the software with some older Microsoft operating system you might get unexpected results.

Another important point to check out is that your video card is able to display 16-bit colors (High Color) or more. Nenet will not run at all unless you switch your video card to the High Color mode. Typically a video card with 2Mbytes of memory will suffice.

How to Download the Software?

You can install Nenet either from three 1.44M floppies or from a hard disk. If you prefer the floppy disk type of installation download the three files below and uncompress them for example with WinZip to separate floppies. For installation directly to the harddisk, download and uncompress the files below to a directory on your harddisk. The final installation is started by running the SETUP.EXE which can be found in the file Nenet11a_D1.zip.
