• During my trip to HongKong in May 2000 (and 2001) I had a change to visit MACAU, where I operated almost 5000 (2500) QSOs on 14/18/21/28 MHz.
• Here is the QSL card with my MACAU callsign XX9TKW !
• Direct QSLs were posted 16.10.2000 (01.03.2002). Other 2000 cards all

• Here I am operating in the local hotel. The pilups were marvelous,
  
• but so were the interferences sometimes. I used FT1000MP, Force12

• In November 1997 I had a short business visit to Sydney, North South-Wales of Australia.
• Colin, VK2HCT kindly hosted me around Syndey and surroundings with his Suzuki!

• Yes, it was extremely hot in Sydney, some day it was

• Colin took me also to the WIA station in Dural, where I could see the sunday broadcasting and meet other hams.
• Peter, VK2BPN reading the bulletin at VK2WI. The bulletin is given on sunday morning and evening on 160/80/40/2/.7 and .3 meters.

• My good friend Mr. Takashi Miyazaki JA1FO (OM Tak) and other NEC hams arranged me a "wellcome meeting" in Tokyo during my first trip to JA in 1987.

• There was some 20 hams from NEC Corporation attending
• The beer, food and hosting was excellent !
• Tak has HF licence for 21/28MHz, last time I met him over the air in SAC phone 1999.

• The 1993 summer camp of SRAL (Finnish Radio Amateur League) was arranged in Vaala which is located in OH8.
• The camp was in a beautiful Happy Beach holiday resort of Lake Oulu.
• From left Juha OH2LQ, Janek SP5LKM and Pauli OH2BQW / OH5BQ (notice, no beers or drinks in picture..)
• My previous car Renault Nevada 2.0GTX and Solifer caravan (lend by Asko Mononen from Vuokatti, many thanks) !
