        Hello and welcome to my homepages! My name is Tapio Lounasalo, born in 31, October, 1960 in Espoo for the only child of my parents. We moved from Espoo's Tapiola in the year 1966 to Hyvinkää and I was married with my former wife Riitta, who is dead in 17.10.2014 (we married in the year 1995) and we lived with my wife (and I still live) in Vantaa, Martinlaakso (about 10 kilometres north of   Helsinki, the capital of   Finland).
        I am interested in ham-radio with the call-sign of OH2BRH, I got my first novice license in the year 1976 and the license of full rights in 1980 (I am strong cw-supporter and user). I am also interested in computers with different operating systems (Windows and Linux) and of course net-surfing and HTML-editing. I also listen to international and domestic broadcasters with my transceiver (Yaesu FT-747 GX), play the chess, play the guitar and make pieces (words and music). I have worked on short wave now 304 active countries, in which 303 are accepted (in the ARRL:s DXCC-award), the one, that is not, is Yemen and I have also worked two deleted countries (German Democratic Republic and Czechoslovakia) in ham-radio (there are 338 active countries in all).
        I have made correspondence with the broadcast-stations so, that I have 89 countries and 111 stations confirmed. In the chess I have not success. Also in guitar-playing I am not as good as professional musicians. This site is continually under construction and I update these pages if required. The only book, in which I have written is "alussa oli kipinä-Suomen Radioamatööriliiton 75-vuotiselta taipaleelta" (which is edited by Reino Janhunen OH2HK), page 139- Radioamatööriasemani vaiheita. I have a membership in the Finnish Amateur Radio League (SRAL) (from the year 1976) and the Finnish DX-Listeners League (SDXL) (from the year 1970).
