In my point of view Android OS devices seems verry attractive, because of.. Java.. the language I've already used several years to create more or less usefull apps for STBs, desktops and other mobiles (J2ME). The Eclipse based development environment (SDK) is easy to get familiar with. The SDK also includes nice tools to drag-drop-create declarative UI and do on device debug.. documentation is also easy to harvest. And there's no certication hassle to access all those nice APIs on the device !! :)

So, I installed the Android SDK stuff.. bought nice HTC Dream from eBay.. got dev book ("Hello Android") and studied few days.. I started with the UI stuff.. and ended up with small game..
