Mycelium Running, a (not expensive) book from Paul Stamets, published by Ten Speed Press. It has DIY effective bio-remediation of wrecked nature areas, mycelial orcharding (often called “Myco Forestry”), mycelial farming for communal (or just personal) food and medicine… not to mention communal waste management… or that these can be utilized nicely with the above mentioned “reclaiming the sandlands” link’s techniques.



This project might become promising for maintaining community Net connections, These look sturdy, practical, and not too costly… while simultaneously connecting poor areas and their children to all the Net’s data and instructions:
