Boat commands : 

drydock----------turns boat into newbie miniture and puts it back in your pack. 
sail furl--------stops boat 
sail full--------set's speed to full 
sail half--------set's speed to half 
sail port--------turns boat counter-clockwise 
sail starboard---turns boat clockwise 
sail drift-------your boat just starts floating randomly 
sail slow---------------sail slowly 
sail come about-------turns vessel 
extend planks ---------opens planks permanently till drydocked 
retract planks----------closes them back up 
sail troll-----------------lets you target bait then you sail to see if you catch monsters 

Note : The following can be used in groups: 
Forward, back, left and right 
Examples: 
sail forward right 
sail back left
