Loki5ace properties

- When a prefix is entered the program looks for the default DXCC country and shows the coordinates of its capital city (Country position).

- If the QTH  is found in the Positiot.txt file, its coordinates are shown (Place position)

- Hint lines and context sensitive help: When keeping the mouse cursor on a header, field or button, a short hint line is shown. Its duration may be set in the Settings. When the cursor is in a Field or a Menu option, Check Box or Button is held with the mouse and at the same time the key <F1> is pressed, the corresponding part of the Help file is shown.

- A New DXCC country, Band DXCC, Locator square, IOTA or Region is manifested with a red label.

- Data transfer from other programs with the ADIF convention and to other programs at the same way or through a text file.

- Possibility to use several databases: data transfers between them.

- QSL label and QSL card printing. Card editing: text, font, colors. Pedition print: 1-6 QSOs to one card. Converting QSOs to ADIF files (eQSL.cc). E-card making (image and text as a html page). In QSL card and label printing settings 'Line space' and 'Horizontal space' added.  In labels 3x8  and 3x11 forms available.

- Administration of QSLs to be sent.

- Locator counting: distance, geodetic distance, direction, opposite direction, long way, opposite long way.

- Collecting regions of different countries.

- Search operations from all main form fields, separately or combinations.

- Sunrise, sunset and twilight times in a DXCC country or according to the locator of the station.

- Statistics. Numbers and listings: QSOs, Stations, DXCC countries, CQ-regions, IOTA islands, Regions, Vessels, Aircrafts, Mobile stations, Portabel stations, Locator squares. DXCC countries by Band and Mode (HF, WARC, VHF/UHF, CW, SSB, SSTV, Digitals).

- In the Special listing option the database fields may be selected with drag-and-drop technique into any order. Listing selection conditions through the three first fields. Selection of the ready list by the mouse. Printing to paper or saving to a file. Font, font size, line space and field length selectable.

- QSO listings and printings: booking order, chronological order, station order, call-sign order, DXCC order.

- Data access to CallBook CD rom and QRZ, HamCall and SRAL databases.

- Search of the duplicates and their deletion.

- Recognition of old prefixes.

- Travelling mans log-keeping: Own QTH data (Call-sign, QTH, Position) saved to each QSO.

- Local time analog clock always visible. 

- PC clock time check through internet time servers.

- Inversion of station call-sign in order to recognize the wrong order call-signs.

- Updating facilities: automatic new version announcement and download or through 'About -> Update' option.

- Nearest DXCC countries: six nearest DXCC countries to the given position, direction and distance to their capital cities.

- When a value is entered into the Frequency field, the corresponding Band, Mode and Reports 59/599 appear in their fields.

- The short keys of the main form changed so that Alt + letter is equal to Ctrl + letter. F.ex. <Save> may be found with the command Alt + T as well as Ctrl + T . [30/1/2004]

- Printing programs repaired: the DPI value of the printer is known automatically. IOTA   island list may be printed now. [30/1/2004]

- DDE -service for the programs MixW, DigiPan, Multipsk, HamRadio Deluxe and ARSWIN. On the Settings form <DDE-service>, where the paths of the programs are given. In the option 'Settings' either of the two programs is chosen. Pressing the DDE button the QSO data is transferred to the Loki5ace main form.

- Antenna rotator handling with ARSWIN program. Clicking the ARSWIN button turns the antenna to the direction of the Direction-field.

- MODE drop-down list: CW, SSB, AM, FM, SSTV, RTTY, FONE, DIGI. New modes may be added.

- Telnet DXCluster -option available with a list of addresses and commands. With Watch filter different kinds of spots may be selected. Watch list shown with CW and speech announcements.

- SQL form for data search.

- Editor for text editing and sound file making (own CW sound file for mobile phones).

- IOTA islands positions and 3500 places aroung the world usable for the QTH field. Position shown on the main form may be shown in a world map clicking one button.
