Comments on the bike: The bike run totally without problems. Only mishap we had was that our speedo cable broke after about 500 km of ride. It seems to be a weak point in modern BMWs. Also after Motu forest road, the bike had eaten so much dust, that the air filter must have been really clogged. Normally the bike needed a choke to start in the morning. After Motu, it no more did... This reading was the last in the odometer:
