Created and recorded during a long and hazy period of time spanning from 2003 to 2006. It went through several stages of demoing and recording the guitars, bass and vocal parts on quite modest equipment that would make recording gear snobs point and laugh. The shortcomings of equipment and unrestricted amount of time led to unusual recording methods, which in turn led to the wintry cold sound of the final product. The last bit recorded was unorthodoxly, the drums, however in a radically more professional environment (Lion Sound Studios, Helsinki) than the rest of the album recorded earlier (at a very basic home studio here at Riihimäki).
 
    The album itself is decidedly bleak and grey as a winter day in its musical mood. It holds the performing protagonists in shackles, and it sucks the life and energy from the listeners. It induces a sleep-like state of bloodless relaxation, a tiny death if you will. Put this on in a party, and the guests will one after another make their excuses and leave.
 
    The correct listening setting is without hurry, without company, during an evening or a night (especially when you’re suffering from insomnia) listened through high quality headphones.

    Recorded on 24th & 25th November and on 2nd December anno 2000. Mixed and mastered by Jani Loikas, the frontman of Nocturnal Winds. The recordings took place in a messy closet (though quite professional) known as "Airsound Studio" in Hyvinkää, Finland. (Although there is a tradition, that when Mr. Loikas is engineering recordings, the studio will be called "Studio Cursed" in credits. This explains why some recordings from even different locations are called that.)
    You cannot purchase the demo because 1: it was originally only to catch attention of labels, not for wider sale, and 2: it is now released through Rage of Achilles in its present form (with nothing different than the cover).
