Note that in ABC mode, all alternative symbols (upper ones) can be selected by pressing SYMB () first. In 123 mode, numbers and special symbols inside the virtual keys are primary but concerning the rest of the symbols, SYMB is still needed for shifting to the ones above. In general, SHIFT () does not provide any alternative charcaters, only upper case letters.
