| These tunes were produced for a Thief 2 fan mission project called
"The Hammerite Imperium" which folded due to unfortunate
circumstances. Instead of letting my work go to waste, I decided to
release them to the public. My main aim is to provide the Thief fan
mission community with a collection of music that they can include
in their missions for free, but fan mission makers/modders/etc.
for other games and projects can use these too. You are free to use
them for non-profit purposes only. |

| Why So many? Why so short? |
| These songs are designed to be used in certain areas, to enhance
certain emotions, elements, etc. in the mission. Also, They are meant
to be repeated (looped) an arbitrary amount of times and having short
songs in small files is cost effective for this purpose. Even though
the names would suggest, they were never actual songs, but collections
of shorter themes that have now been separated into individual files.
You can still (re)construct them into longer songs by
placing them in the playlist of your favorite player (e.g. WinAmp).
You can also have some fun with the shuffle/random functionality of the
player. That way you get an ever morphing song that should keep the
listener's interest up for quite a long time.
